05 — For station operators
Bring back
the customers
self-serve lost.
Pumpside contracts directly with gas station corporate offices and franchise groups. We staff your forecourt with trained, uniformed attendants — built around the customer segments self-serve quietly excludes.
01 — The thesis
Self-serve was a 1973 cost-cutting decision. Fifty years later, it still quietly disqualifies anyone who can’t — or shouldn’t — handle a fuel hose alone.
Pumpside is the operational fix. We staff the forecourt for you, train to your brand standards, and recover the demographic segments that currently route around your station. We stand for convenience, safety, and dignity — and the car traffic that follows.
02 — Who you’re missing
The six
segments.
Each of these is a real customer your station already loses. Each is a customer Pumpside was designed, from the start, to bring back through the door.
N° 01
Women alone at the pump
A lone driver at a fuel island, after dark, with a wallet exposed. Pumpside stands between the customer and the apron — visibly, in branded uniform, on every transaction.
N° 02
Drivers with disabilities
Wheelchair, prosthetic, post-surgery, oxygen. Lifting a hose isn’t neutral for everyone. Our crew handles the nozzle, the tire pressure, and the receipt without making the customer ask.
N° 03
Mothers with kids in the car
Two car seats. A sleeping toddler. The choice between leaving them or unbuckling them is the choice that sends them to the station with full service — or sends them home thirsty. We make Pumpside the station they don’t have to skip.
N° 04
Storms, rain, and freeze
No customer should hold a fuel nozzle in a thunderstorm. Pumpside stands on the apron so your customers never have to weigh whether to step out of the car.
N° 05
Cold snaps and 100° afternoons
Asphalt at 140° in July. Diesel pumps in a cold front. Weather extremes silently bleed your repeat-customer rate. We staff through them.
N° 06
The elderly customer
Eighty years old, on blood thinners, can’t bend at the hip. The customer self-serve quietly forgot. A staffed Pumpside lane is the reason they come back.
03 — Why partner
Four
outcomes.
We team with operators to grow the forecourt. More cars at the pump. More feet through the door. A service line your competitors don’t have.
N° 01
More cars in the VIP lane
Drivers route to the station with full service. A staffed Pumpside lane pulls in cars that would otherwise skip your forecourt.
N° 02
A premium tier on your forecourt
Pump, tires, windshield — all from the driver’s seat. A service line your competitors don’t have, and one that keeps cars coming back.
N° 03
Customer recovery
Women, parents, elderly, disabled, and weather-sensitive drivers. Pumpside brings them back, and brings them to your station.
N° 04
A reason to be the regular stop
Most stations on a corner are identical. A staffed Pumpside lane gives yours a story worth driving past three to reach.
04 — How partnership works
From first call to
signed pilot.
01
Discovery call
A 30-minute conversation with our partnership team. We learn your station mix, traffic profile, and the customer segments you’re trying to grow.
02
Pilot proposal
We scope a single-station pilot — typically 90 days. Coverage windows, branded uniforms, training to your standards, and the metrics we’ll track together.
03
Crew deployment
We hire and train locally. Pumpside attendants are uniformed, insured, and operate under our payroll — your station carries no employment liability.
04
Quarterly review
After the pilot we deliver a written brief: VIP-lane car traffic, repeat-customer rate, customer-feedback summary. You decide whether to expand the program.
05 — The operator’s questions
The ones
procurement
always asks.
01Who employs the attendants?
Pumpside does. Our crew is on our payroll, with our insurance, our training, and our background checks. The station carries no employment liability.
02How are attendants paid?
Pumpside pays the crew directly — operators are billed monthly under a per-shift or per-station service agreement. We can structure as a flat retainer, per-fueling fee, or revenue share, depending on the volume profile.
03What insurance do you carry?
General liability, workers’ comp, and a fueling-operations rider. Certificate of insurance is provided as part of contract execution and updated annually. Your corporate office can be named additional insured.
04Can you brand to our standards?
Yes. Uniforms, scripts, training modules, and on-apron behavior are built to your brand standards before the first shift. We treat your forecourt as your forecourt.
05What does a pilot look like?
Single station, 90 days, defined coverage windows. We measure VIP-lane car traffic, repeat-fuel volume, customer feedback, and fueling-incident reports. Quarterly review at end of pilot. No multi-year lock-in.
06What about ADA compliance?
Many stations are technically compliant but functionally fail disabled customers — the call button at the pump that nobody answers. Pumpside is the answer to that call. We can document the ADA-service uplift as part of the pilot brief.
06 — Begin a conversation
Bring this brief to
your next operations
meeting.
We’re currently in conversation with corporate offices and franchise owners across Louisiana and East Texas. A 30-minute discovery call is the first step.
